Pineapple Express

So tonight we were bored.. didn't quite know what to do.. so we decided to chill, cut up a pineapple, have some passion fruit tea, and.... put peanut butter on.. uhm.. everything (story of our lives)

Step 1: go get ripe pineapple...(So cool fact: you know they're ripe when you pull on the stem/leave thing.. it comes out smoothly)

cut cut  cut cut cut uc t cut cut cut

slice slice slice slice SQUARES, TRIANGLES, SLICES, DAIMONDS in a bowl and a bowl= :)

Passion Fruit Tea is very fuit-ty!

Warning: you'll feel like an avatar that just cracked a tropical fruit open and your drinking the sun heated juice from it...it's awesome.

We kinda didn't pay attention to the beginning, and then Mak went to bed... but the end is good and the opera music is relaxing... cheesy acting, but ya know what can you expect from back in the day.

the best part about tea..

Is that you can fill it up with more water and make a second cup...

And when I got out the ice cream to put in it... I just couldn't refuse..

and I added dark chocolate with chili and cherry.. chili powder and cocoa powder..

and a few strawberries in an eating device..

it was good.

good taste in your mouth.

Sometimes I don't get the munchies and I'm not hungry at all... when this occurs, it's not like I don't still want good flavor in my mouth, so I drink tea. Tonight I made the ultimate mouth flavor burst.

 Tea.
Best thing ever.. especially this way..

Mixing more than one tea bag makes it stronger (aka more flavorful)

plus, you can be all creative and mix flavours the tea companies couldn't think of..

these two are good mixes...super "spicey tasting... you feel like your strait up with the three wisemen star-analizing.

Plus "Good Earth" and "Yogi" teas have little messages on the back... It makes every cup an adventure

^^"What we play is life"^^

Deep..
It totally gives you something to think about.

I made the tea..

Heres what I listened to..

Likke Li Pandora
Likke Li
Florence and The Machine
Metric
Modest Mouse
Fiest
The Teenageers
Regina Spektor
Gayngs
Imogen Heap
Muse

Great mix...

then had the best idea...

It gave it the most creamy, spicey, vanilla flavour and made my mouth and tastebuds quite satisfied.

The perfect and flavourful I'm not hungry snack.

Voila .

4:30 am.. too much sweet stuff.

These things are amazingly crunchy with great flavor and just the right amount of nutty/salty flavor...

FREAKING addictive.

Sooo I threw a few more things on there to ensure how addictive these little guys are.
The combos are a liiiitttle odd.. but,

DON'T JUDGE UNTIL YOU TRY HATERS!

Cracker #1: Blackberry Jam, honey smoked turkey, pear slices, black pepper

moving counter clockwise (right, then up)

Cracker #2: Eggplant hummus, honey smoked turkey, pear slices, black pepper

Cracker #3: Natural crunchy peanut butter, pear slices, honey smoked turkey, cinnamon

^^^That ones probably the most odd.. but its good, its also equally (MORE) addictive with out the turkey just PB and Pear..

Don't believe me?
Damn skeptics..Try for yourself.

friday night: I made french press and kept going.

So.. I didn't stop after the ginger thin mini addictable things...

I crunched up some more ginger thins with some cinnamon grahm crackers, coffee grounds, honey and cinnamon...

Then I put coffee grounds in one bowl...

Cocoa powder in another..

and crushed ginger thins in the last...

Then made some vanilla rice milk (cream isn't my thing) chocolate ganache...

...and rolled the ganache in the toppings

They were pretty damn good... Yeah homemade dark chocolate truffles..

I had all night, and lots of creative munchy vibes going on.. so I kept going.

I put the grahm cracker/coffee/ginger thin/honey mixture in the bottom of two shot glasses

and layered coffee biscotti hemp ice cream with it until the shot glass was full..

I added strawberries, cool whip and nutella to one of the shot glasses.

Then froze them, and cut/dumped them out..

You have frozen chocolate espresso ginger hemp dream truffles..

SUCCESSSSSS!

Buuuut I still wanted to make more... and still had more ingredients..

Mixing natural, crunchy peanut butter with vanilla rice ice cream.. and putting that on top of the ginger thin/grahm cracker/coffee/honey mixture and freezing it gets you....

Upside down peanut butter hemp espresso pie!!

I took the picture with only one bite missing...but don't be fooled.

I couldn't stop once I started..

I ate the whole thing.

The addictable ginger cookie creation plate was cleared too.. I mean I had to at least tryyy every one.

AFTERMATH....

Thank god for dishwashers.

friday night.

Being out until 6am, breathing vodka cranberry hours later, and not knowing exactly what you smell like is great especially when you throw in the dancing and good music, but I needed a break from the hollywood clubs so tonight.... I stayed home. Smoking, watching Breakfast at Tiffany's, drinking coffee and coming up with some dankkk food creations.
fair warning.. you won't be able to stop making things up once you start. and that same rule applies to when you start eating it too.
#1 We'll call these..."make a different combo on each cookie that way when your done you end up eating them all because you can't decide what flavor you want in your mouth last addictables"

So I took some ginger snap thins (you could take any other thin and good cookie) and put them in a pan with different random spreads/toppings on them. I used, Peanut butter, nutella, dark choc pieces, blackberry jam,  and Honey and cinnamon. Once all topped, I put them in the oven at 350ยช F for four minutes.

Nowwww comes the fun part.. toppings.

I put them on a plate...

and began to create weird things to put on top of them.
I started off with strawberries.

Thennn realized I didn't have the necessary items... so I went to the store (thank god ralphes is open till two.) Anyway this is what I bought..

...And this is what I looked like.
People looked at me a little weird when I was checking out.

Then I made toppings... chocolate ganache mixed with yogurt

Natural, chunky peanut butter with vanilla rice ice cream

I made many more toppings... peanut butter mixed with cool whip.. peanut butter mixed with yogurt.. peanut butter, yogurt and cool whip.. nutella mixed with yogurt..just plain nutella.. the possibilities are endless.

Topped with everything from strawberries, pears, cinnamon, cocoa powder,
ginger cookie crumbles, and blackberry jam

Enjoy munching.. I did. With coffee.
